It's simple. When police or medical assistance is needed, press the panic button and help is on the way. (A pendant harness, wristband, and belt clip) comes with the unit so one can choose which works best for you.
Extremely easy. Simply plug the Pers2400 main unit into a wall outlet for power and into a telephone jack for communication.Plug you phone set into the back of the pers console labeled telephone set. It's that simple. There is virtually no set up required in order for this system to work. We programming everything before it is shipped. A back up battery to be used in cases of a power failure is also available. It can be plugged into an easily opened and accessible compartment in the unit.
Under most circumstances, shipment of these units can be at your door within 5 business days. (You can also request overnight shipment for an additional charge.)
The rate for 24-hour monitoring is fixed at $ 25 per month plus tax (where applicable) . This payment is always pre-paid three months in advance by a credit card, or six months in advance if making a payment by check.
Visa / Master Card, or American Express: $ 111.30 (3 months)
Payment by Check: $ 222.60 (6 months)
For Two-Way-Voice monitoring (see next paragraph), the rate is $ 40 per month plus tax. The payment choices are the same as above.
When purchasing the Per2400, there is the option to buy a Two-Way-Voice module. When activated this will allow a monitoring operator to communicate with the person needing help without the need of the telephone; i.e., a hands free two-way conversation.
All communication is accomplished through the built in speaker and microphone that is in the main unit. If this option is selected we will install the module into your unit before shipping. Note: The voice unit can only be heard in a limited area. Good for use in apartments and condos.

The equipment must be purchased, and the 24-hour monitoring account must be established. Included with the shipment will be an original monitoring agreement which needs to be filled out and sent back to us. The original paperwork must be received for processing within ten days or the account will automatically be closed by the monitoring station
.
Payments must be timely to keep the monitoring account current. Bills will be sent on or around the 3rd of the month prior to due date and payment is expected no later than the 20th of the month prior to the next billing cycle. Non receipt of payment by the 20th of the month will result in a phone call reminder. If payment is not received by the last working day of the month, emergency response with the 24-hour central station will automatically be canceled. There will be a $50 charge for reactivation.
